We size every system with a load calculation that accounts for your square footage, insulation, window exposure, and our humidity, rather than simply matching whatever tonnage was there before. SEER2, Refrigerant, and Florida Energy Code

New systems are rated under the SEER2 standard, and Florida's minimum efficiency for split systems is higher than in northern states because of how much cooling we use. A higher-efficiency system costs more up front, but with nine or more months of cooling every year, the difference in operating cost is real and adds up quickly. We will show you the estimated annual cost difference between the options so you can decide what makes sense for your home.

The industry has also moved to newer, lower-global-warming-potential refrigerants. Any system we install today uses current refrigerant, which means parts and refrigerant will be readily available for the life of the equipment, and you will not be caught paying a premium for a phased-out product.

• The new air handler, condenser, line set (if needed), pad, and disconnect are installed and the system is pressure-tested and vacuumed before charging.
• The condensate drain gets a new float switch so a clog shuts the system down instead of flooding your ceiling.
• Your thermostat is set up and we walk you through it.
• We pull the required permit and schedule the inspection with Collier County or the City of Marco Island.
• The work area is cleaned and the old equipment is hauled away.
